While it is technically dishwasher safe, please use caution in the dishwasher as it is an extra large bowl. I find it easier to wash mine carefully in the sink with hot water and dish soap. 

Perfect for mixing and proofing sourdough, could also be used for a large serving bowl for salads. 

In between uses it will add a beautiful rustic handcrafted charm to your kitchen or dining area.
